Cake

So last month my dear hubby and I celebrated 8 yrs together.  And to prove that he is still the one for me he got me the best present.  He signed me up to do some cake decorating classes.  It really was a perfect present because it got me out of the house and I got to learn a fun new skill.  Any ways I still have a lot of practice I need to do but I thought I would share with you my final cake.  If I look to close I can nit-pick it to death but I am just going to look at the big picture and say I am happy with it.  And it is fondant free!

beautiful, the best part of you taking the class is that I got to spend time with my three beautiful granddaughters. Kaylee doesn't like the bottle any better that your other two. Thank goodness for rice cereal.

Awesome cake! I wish I took that one with you, too. The basics class was so much fun! (thank you for letting me know) I am amazed that it is completely fondant FREE. Great job, Liz!

Thanks guys. Noriko- homemade fondant is much better than the store bought which makes it tolerable. (there is a recipe at make it and love it) Natalia- I was glad you did that class with me, I would have loved to seen you at this one as well.
