Well that didn't turn out...

So Prudent Baby was having this contest that you could win a new sewing machine.  What you had to do was sew a potholder and the best ones would win.  I though why not, a pot holder can't be that hard.  So I went through my fabric stash and found some coordinating fabrics that would be cute and Valentiney.  Then I started piecing them together.  And I must admit I was kinda liking it.

 See what I mean.  It's kinda cute.  Well then came time for "quilting" it and putting the bias tape around the edges and well...

Oh well at least it works as a pot holder.  But I certainly didn't enter it in the contest.
ps. The photo is very generous it is much much worse in real life.
