If you do read this and you do car, please please please make a comment or better yet order some bows. I'll even bribe you to do so. In 3 days I will take all the comments and turn it into a drawing. I will also take all the orders made and enter your name twice. So please give me some encouragement. Your name can be entered up to 3 times! 1 for a comment and 2 for and order. Thanks!!

I have been doing this for about 6 months and Have only sold to a friend of mine, she ordered and then she said she "Has to wate till her brother gives her money" after I made her bows. So who knows when that will be. Keep at it, Its hard times right now. I hope you sell some soon! I love your wings, they are cute! Good luck! Blogger Id is Well Im new I think......
ReplyDeleteI read it Liz and I always get your bows.
ReplyDeleteHey Liz, I know exactly how you feel. When I started selling Mary Kay I was worried about it and didn't want to bug people with it, so the first people I turned to was family. I sent out catalogs with samples which cost me money, I called relatives and invited them for pampering sessions, I tried not to be annoying, but just to make it fun and show them all the great stuff MK offers. Almost every woman buys cosmetics, so I thought with all my Aunts and girl cousins I might have some good clients. I have learned that it takes a long time to get your own business started and you can't take it personal. Most people have rejected what I was offering, even family, but it didn't mean they were rejecting me. Mary Kay taught me that as well as to find other ways to promote yourself and your product. Some people don't follow blogs, some like letters or parties or just an easier pick up and get what's easy and convenient while they are getting groceries at the store.
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to get some bows from you, but haven't yet probably because of convenience. If you brought some to the next family party I for sure would get some. I wouldn't have to worry about paying for shipping and could see your cute product and buy!
I have also learned with blogs, that often people read without commenting, I do it too, but it can be frustrating.
So you really can't sell your bows anymore after that bill or whatever is passed?
I totally read it, I have just been out of commission the last few weeks. My life seems to be crazy and I'm trying to get things in check! I love them and would totally cry if you stopped selling your bows!
ReplyDeleteLiz I love your bows {and crafts} wishing I had a little girl to pamper! I'll have to let my sister know about your bows, she is always buying those ridiculously over priced bows at quilted bear. anyway you can also try being a sponsor for giveaways on other blogs I love tip junkie, they always have fun things going on! that way you'll get more traffic coming to your blog!
